Electrical Hardware Engineer
Overview
You will develop and industrialize electrical hardware for humanoid and other robotic systems, including high-speed communication and reliable power electronics. This includes the design and implementation of controllers, servo drivers, and sensor boards that form the core electronic systems of humanoid robots.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and production of main control boards, servo drivers, and sensor boards
- High-speed communication interface design (EtherCAT, CAN, RS485, I2C, BiSS)
- Power distribution, protection circuits, and EMI/EMC mitigation
- Harness, connector, and cabling design for reliability and manufacturability
- Circuit testing, validation, and certification (CE, KC, etc.)
- Component sourcing and supplier communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Professional experience in high-current, high-speed PCB design
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCad
- Experience in power conversion and protection circuit design
- Hands-on experience with robotics or automation systems
Preferred Qualifications
- BLDC servo and precision motor control hardware experience
- Experience with EMC/EMI certification and compliance (UL/CE/KC/Functional Safety)
- Experience in harness design and production
